KEY QUESTIONS: Which clones do best on ridgetops vs valleys? How do fog exposure and elevation affect clone choice? Which clones provide STRUCTURE (Pommard) vs AROMATICS (777) vs BALANCE (115)? DRAW A MAP: On your napkin, sketch the vineyard (a rough rectangle at 1,100 feet) and note where different clones dominate.
