   Find the Red Fish Boat

   The only way to reach Da Adolfo is by their free boat.

   Arrive at Spiaggia Grande in Positano by 9:45. Find the pier at the beach's eastern end. Look for the small wooden boat with a red fish-shaped sign reading "Da Adolfo." The boat holds only 8-10 people. First departure 10:00. If you miss it, boats run every 30 min until 14:00. The ride takes 5 minutes.

   Order the Mozzarella on Lemon Leaf

   The signature dish - grilled mozzarella wrapped in citrus.

   When seated (no menu - blackboard specials), order "mozzarella alla griglia" or "mozzarella sulla foglia di limone." The fresh mozzarella is wrapped in a lemon leaf and grilled. The leaf infuses citrus into the cheese. €12-15. This is the dish everyone photographs.

   Request the House Wine with Peaches

   The local tradition: white wine with fresh peach slices.

   Ask for "vino della casa con le pesche" - house wine with peaches. They'll bring a ceramic pitcher of chilled local white wine with fresh peach slices. €10-15 per pitcher. This is how the fishermen have drunk wine here for generations. Let the peaches soak for 10 minutes before eating them.

   Swim Before the Boat Returns

   Laurito beach has the clearest water on the coast.

   After lunch (they close at 15:30), swim from the beach. The water here is clearer than Spiaggia Grande - fewer boats, no crowds. Da Adolfo has sun loungers for guests. Return boats to Positano run from 16:00. Don't miss the last one.
