   Descend the $110M Spiral Staircase

   The building cost $110 million and took 7 years to build. The spiral is the heart of it.

   Book the Tinaia Tour (€30, 90 min) on antinori.it at least 1 week ahead. Tours start at the entrance. When you reach the central atrium, look UP - you'll see the vineyard through skylights. Then descend the weathered steel spiral staircase 3 levels down. Stop midway for THE photo - straight up through the spiral with vines visible above. If no tour available, the wine bar is on the ground floor and you can see the stairs from there.

   Find the 26 Generations Wall

   The Antinori family has made wine since 1385. That's 26 generations.

   In the museum section (included in Tinaia Tour), look for the family timeline wall. It shows every generation from 1385 to today. Find Giovanni di Piero Antinori who started it all. Ask your guide about Piero Antinori (current chairman) - he created the Super Tuscan revolution with Tignanello in 1971.

   Taste Tignanello Where It Was Born

   Tignanello changed Italian wine forever. This is where it started.

   The standard tour includes 3 wines. For Tignanello, book the 'Premium Tasting' (€55, adds vertical comparison) OR buy by the glass at the wine bar (€15-20/glass). The 1971 vintage was the first - if you see any vintage pre-1990 on the list, order it. Ask the sommelier which vintage they'd drink tonight if money didn't matter.

   Walk the Rooftop Vineyard

   11 acres of vines grow on TOP of the building.

   After your tour or wine bar visit, walk outside and UP the hill behind the building. The path leads to the vineyard that covers the roof. Stand at the top and look down - you're standing on the ceiling of a winery 3 stories below. Free access, no booking needed. Best at sunset when the light turns the vines gold.

   Lunch with the View at Rinuccio 1180

   Named for the first Antinori to make wine in Florence in 1180.

   Book Rinuccio 1180 restaurant SEPARATELY from the tour (not included). Book on antinori.it at least 1 week ahead, request terrace seating. Order the truffle pasta if in season. Wines by the glass let you taste across the Antinori empire. The view of the Chianti hills is the real prize - this is the Instagram shot everyone wants.
