   Take the Gondola to Controlled Chaos

   The Ariondaz lift takes you to the start of 3km of tunnel-filled madness.

   Buy a luge ticket (€10-15) at Ariondaz gondola station in Courchevel 1650 (Moriond) and ride up to the luge track start. The gondola takes about 10 minutes. At the top, follow signs to the luge track, pick up a basic plastic sled with handles for steering/braking from the rack. Look down the first section. It's steeper than you think. That's normal—you're about to hurtle down 3km through 8 underground tunnels in controlled chaos.

   🔄 BACKUP: If weather closes the track, Aquamotion is nearby in 1650 for a completely different kind of fun.

   Hurtle Through 8 Underground Tunnels

   Darkness, light, darkness, light—3km of "Grand Prix-style" adrenaline.

   Sit on the sled, feet forward, hands on the brake/steer handles. Lift your feet. Go. The first section is open—you'll see the first tunnel approaching. Then darkness. Then light explosion. Then another tunnel. The track banks through corners as you control speed by dragging your feet or using the brake handle. Don't be afraid to go faster—you won't flip. The tunnels are the experience—count them as you go through all 8. This is Grand Prix-style luge meets underground adventure.

   🔄 BACKUP: If too scary, you can stop anytime and walk down. No shame. But you won't want to.

   Recovery Vin Chaud at the Bottom

   Your legs are jelly. Your face hurts from smiling. Wine fixes both.

   The track ends near the village base—find the nearest vin chaud vendor (€5-8) or walk to any slope-side bar. Collapse. Order mulled wine and decompress. Replay the run in your head. If you came with friends, argue about who went faster. The alcohol plus lingering adrenaline creates a specific warmth that ski runs don't quite match. You just did something ridiculous. Celebrate.

   🔄 BACKUP: Hot chocolate is acceptable for non-drinkers. The achievement still counts.
