   A thick band of green Illite clay runs beneath Cuisles - unique in Champagne. This clay gives Meunier an almost Chardonnay-like quality: lift, texture, elegance. It's why brokers call this "Grand Cru for Meunier." Contact the estate in advance and ask specifically: "Can you show us the Illite clay? Can we taste the difference it makes?" The 'Terres d'Illite' cuvée showcases this terroir directly in their tasting room (and vineyard if the tour includes a walk).

   Taste the First 100% Meunier Special Club

   Moussé Fils made history: the FIRST 100% Pinot Meunier wine admitted to the Special Club by Club Trésors de Champagne. Also the first Rosé de Saignée Special Club. Revolutionary. In their tasting room, ask: "Can we taste your Special Club Meunier?" If current vintage unavailable, try 'Les Vignes de Mon Village' (100% Meunier, zero dosage) or 'Les Fortes Terres' (single lieu-dit). Compare to their blends.
