   Each village has its own church, its own character - Riceys-Haut (high), Ricey-Haute-Rive (high riverbank), Ricey-Bas (low). The three together form the only commune in France with 3 AOCs. Walk or drive between them - they're connected but distinct, and each church is worth entering.

   Find a Cadole (Dry Stone Shelter)

   Cadoles are traditional dry stone shelters scattered throughout the vineyards surrounding the villages - like tiny stone huts built without mortar where vineyard workers once sheltered. They're unique to this region. Ask at the tourism office or a grower for the nearest accessible one, or spot them from vineyard roads as you explore.

   Spot Krug's Vineyard Sources

   Krug sources some of their rosé grapes from Les Riceys vineyards - the same terroir that makes Rosé des Riceys gives Krug Rosé its character. Ask a local grower: "Où sont les vignes de Krug?" They'll point out the direction, and you can walk the vineyard roads to explore Krug's Riceys connection firsthand.

   Photograph the Three Church Spires

   From certain angles on the hill road above the villages (Route de l'Arce direction), you can see all three village church spires in one shot. Drive up the D452 toward the vineyards, pull over at viewpoints during golden hour, and capture the essence of Les Riceys - three villages, one commune.
