   The vintage 1960s Swiss post bus on Dorfstrasse seats only 12 people on original 1965 seats - this is the trophy. The terrace is fine but inside is special. Arrive at 3pm sharp when après-ski starts, walk directly to the bus door, and if there's a seat, take it and don't leave.

   🔄 BACKUP: If the bus is full, claim a terrace spot with sightlines to the bus - you're waiting for someone to leave.

   Order the Bus Driver's Choice

   wine $

   Ask for the "Bus Driver's Choice" - whatever Swiss wine the owner is drinking that week, usually a Fendant from Valais or obscure Chasselas (CHF 8-12/glass). Say "What's the Bus Driver drinking today?" They'll know. It won't be on the menu.

   The Three-Stranger Rule

   You must introduce yourself to at least three strangers before you leave - this is après-ski law. Start with "First time in Grindelwald?" or "What run did you do today?" The bus is intimate enough that conversation happens naturally.

   🔄 BACKUP: If you're shy, wait for live music (Thursday/Saturday 5pm) - the DJ breaks the ice for you.
