In the main hall of Villa Trier (now Museum St. Anton on Rudi-Matt-Weg), Trier convinced Schneider to teach the Arlberg technique worldwide - transforming skiing from niche alpine activity to global sport. Pay museum entry (€5-7), ask for the English guide sheet, and stand in the main salon imagining that world-changing conversation.

   Find Karl Schranz's 1962 Kneissls

   In the ski equipment room on the upper floor, Karl Schranz - local hero, 2x World Cup champion (1969-70), and the man with photos alongside Audrey Hepburn, Queen Elizabeth II, and Jean-Claude Killy - donated his 1962 Kneissls. These wooden skis with leather bindings raced down the Hahnenkamm and won World Cups. Note how different equipment was, yet these conquered mountains.

   Dine Where "Chalet Girl" Was Filmed

   The 2011 film "Chalet Girl" starring Felicity Jones used Villa Trier as a primary location. Now the ground floor houses Museum Restaurant serving refined Austrian cuisine with excellent wines.
