   Piccadilly in the Hotel Post basement (entrance next to Alber Sports on Dorfstraße 13) is the après bar that reopens at 9pm—the same space transforms from ski boots and mountain clothes at 4pm–8pm to actual nightlife energy when it reopens for the evening session. Hotel Post has operated since 1896, and this basement has been running longer than most resorts have been skiing. First visit: arrive around 4:30pm after your last run for the rock set and après energy, leave at 8pm for dinner (Post Stub'n restaurant upstairs or anywhere on Dorfstraße), then return at 9pm for round two when the crowd shifts from après-ski to nightlife.

   🔄 BACKUP: If Piccadilly is too crowded on arrival, start at Plangger Delikatessen wine bar (Dorfstraße 32, 5 minutes away) for a pre-Piccadilly drink, then arrive at 5pm.

   Descend Into Postkeller: St. Anton's 4am Basement

   Postkeller is below Piccadilly, opens at 9:30pm, and doesn't close until 4am. The same hotel that houses a 15,000-bottle wine cellar and Master Sommelier Heimo Niederhammer also has the best DJ sound system in St. Anton pounding two floors down.

   Postkeller—the lower basement of Hotel Post accessible through the same entrance as Piccadilly—is serious dancing territory with the best DJ setup and sound system in St. Anton, built for a basement club, not a bar. The space peaks after midnight with the last people leaving at 4am, following the St. Anton arc that locals know: Piccadilly at 9pm for rock, Postkeller at 11pm for dancing, Kandahar bar after 2am for the committed, first gondola at 8:30am for the heroic or insane. Enter at the ideal window (11pm–1am), pace your night—Postkeller doesn't need to be rushed into—and drink water between rounds.

   🔄 BACKUP: If Postkeller's queue is too long (weekend peak weeks), Piccadilly upstairs always has capacity and is the more social, conversation-friendly option. The music is still great.

   Walk Hotel Post's Wine Cellar Before the Party Starts

   Hotel Post has operated since 1896. By night it runs St. Anton's most serious nightclub. By day, its wine cellar holds 15,000 bottles overseen by Master Sommelier Heimo Niederhammer. The gap between those two facts is what makes it extraordinary.

   The 15,000-bottle wine cellar is the context that makes the basement nightclub meaningful—Heimo Niederhammer has curated one of the Alps' finest collections in the same building that runs a 4am club. Arrive at Hotel Post around 6–7pm between après-ski and evening nightlife, ask at front desk if Sommelier Heimo is available for a brief cellar viewing (complimentary for diners), or reserve dinner at Post Stub'n where the wine list reflects those 15,000 bottles. Then, later the same night, return for Postkeller—the split personality of alpine wine culture.

   🔄 BACKUP: If no cellar access, browse the Post Stub'n wine menu at the bar over a glass and contemplate that in a few hours this same building will be a basement club.
